The DX115 MoveDock USB 3.0 Adapter was specifically designed for the DX115 Carriers (6601-7100-0500) and the Digital Cinema Industry. The DX115 MoveDock is a portable, high quality and highly reliable multiuse adapter with a 25K insertion rating. Converting the DX115 Carrier into an external USB 3.0 Device, it allows for the installation of qty one (1) DX115 Carrier.
The new USB3.0 (Type B) is larger then USB2.0 (Type B). The original USB2.0 cable (Type B - Type A) can be used with older USB2.0 or newer USB3.0 Move Dock Adapters at USB2.0 speeds. The new USB3.0 cable (Type B - Type A) can ONLY be used with newer USB3.0 Move Dock at USB3.0 speeds. For USB 3.0 data speeds to be achieved - USB 3.0 MoveDock, USB 3.0 Cable and USB 3.0 Host connection is required.
- USB 3.0 Cable + USB 3.0 MoveDock = ok
- USB 3.0 Cable + USB 2.0 MoveDock = not ok, will not fit
- USB 2.0 Cable + USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 MoveDock = ok
